yanlong94, how is the performance of ur rooted legend?

fine, nothing much special. only the apps2sd which is still taking up some amount of internal memory when some apps are installed. the rest of the apps just simply installed into the internal memory. im looking for those froyo-like lock screen and white notification bar lol.

guys is it worth if i sign data plan now? is like for example if i sign it now then i will pay a certain amount like $10 extra. but if im going to renew my contract and sign the data plan, the mobile phone pricing would be cheaper. so is it worth if i sign it now? if not i think i might have to wait till next year to renew my contract, hope you guys understood what i have said

any rooted legend user here ??

how is it ?? any problem so far ?

so far so good, nothing special as compared with official un-rooted rom. just you can do much more installation of custom rom which i dont think it suits me. i hope i can find those rom with htc sense apps2sd and lots more. i think the current official rom is much better. but using syandra since i do not know how to install apps2sd into official rooted rom. sorry if i typed too much.

hi all.. think this has been discussed before.. but still not sure on it.. regarding batt life..

I started using my phone at full charge without mobile data (no data plan throughout) at the morning. bluetooth, wifi, lights to the min. set to gsm only. made around 1 hour of calls with around 20-30 sms. GPS only for around 30 mins. I ended up with around 1/4 batt life at 11pm. Is this normal?

I haven't used any smartphone before so is unsure of whether the batt is problematic or it is just lidat. Furthermore, any suggestions to improve batt life?

bluetooth wifi on or off?

main drainers here are the calls and GPS....sounds about right for a smartphone these days.

1 hour of calls in total eats a ton of batt. For tips to improve battery life, try switching off mobile data unless you're using, and also switch off auto-sync if you have facebook, twitter, blahblah.

for li-on batteries, it's normal to experience short battery life. overtime it will gradually increase but only slightly and not major-like like increase by 3 days.
