i thought android uses its own apk....

My final verdict of battery life after overclocking

Here's my final verdict of battery life after one full day of use


My battery remain 30% as at 8.10pm today...


So in overall, it's the same battery life before overclocking


Anyone who wants to overclock your device, you MUST root (Jailbreak/Crack/Hack) your phone OS first

thanks for the detailed observation.

on my legend it's quite laggy to play certain graphic intensive games (esp those gameloft HD games), so im wondering if u could try running a graphic-intensive game like nova or gangstar west coast hustle and tell us ur results? the benchmarks tell us that the overclocked legend is faster than stock galaxy s and desire but that does not necessarily translate to real-world performance. let me know if u don't know where to ahem the APK files for those games, i'll send u a pm with the link to the ahem.

as for the java installer, u might want to try J2ME runner, but i don't think it's available in the market anymore. alternatively just do a quick google search. i managed to install tibiame (an online java mmorpg game) on my legend and its working perfectly.

don't think there is such an app. why not just record the video using another camera or phone?

Successfully overclocked to 806Mhz CPU speed

Just ran Benchmark again, this time round the result is 1090

thanks, looks very good. i'm also thinking of rooting my legend after seeing all the results.

also, just wondering, after rooting and installing ur legend with the cynanogen rom is it already very smooth without overclocking for the swiping of front page left and right? how is the performance of the game without overclocking?

Indeed it's very good. That time you mentioned Benchmark is just value (result), but real-time performance you may not know...Now the answer is: High Benchmark score is equal to very good performance, you got to believe it

Swiping left & right from front screen already very smooth even before overclocking

I did not try the game without overclock, as i no longer wants to go back to "STOCK" cpu speed

HTC has announced the Black colour one, but for sure it will not be selling in Singapore. Because M1 & Singtel have stopped selling, while Starhub is clearing stock, then won't sell as well


The reason very simple, newer HTC models coming out
