be sure to tell us when cm6.1 is out! and your radio apps that you flashed, is it the same as the stock one? (Like just on and listen to radio without connecting to wifi)

Whatsapp video recording crashed on CM 6 Nightly build (V8)

hi forumers,


Another bug found: Video recording forced closed while trying to record video on Whatsapps application.


This is the problem i faced on my CyanogenMod 6 nightly build ROM. While trying to record a video in Whatsapp, it forced closed immediately

It prompted "process com.android.camera" error


Could it be my CPU too fast ? I don't think so, that's because i still can take a normal picture in Whatsapp


Anyway, i have highlighted this problem to the threadstarter on xda forum, let those experts rectify this bug

There is no radio for rooted Froyo (and I don't think there will be), unless you are referring to online radio :s11:

The radio update that we flashed is actually to improve signal strength only. I think it's the same with the stock radio update that we receive OTA :)

Even phones that supposedly cannot run Eclair or Froyo can by rooting, I don't see the problem with Legend 'unable' to support Gingerbread.

Anyone update their firmware just now?
I updated the firmware they prompt and installed it.
After that when I open my message,they show me the first message which I sent to the contact instead of the latest message I received.

Let's wait for xda hacker to check this matter & then verify with us again


Anyway, my Whatsapp is version 1.0.7652, have not upgrade to the newer one (Whattsapp keep prompting me to upgrade)

Which firmware? for stock ROM or.... ???

Not for stock ROM.
Anyway I just went to xda and check,they say the 2.05 software has sms sorting bug,which they will start at the top oldest message instead of the newest one.
Is there anyway way I can undo or restore to the previous firmware?

hi there,

1) Which ROM are you using now ? What 2.05 software is that ?

2) There are ways to reverse back to previous firmware, but you have to tell us your full software version, right ? Then we can help you mah

oh u wanted an app ah? i thought u wanted some special patch. If app then I duno man, i tried some camera apps on the market but quite rubbish la, they don't do much better in terms of quality, only better effects.

Anyway hope HTC release a Sense Froyo for Legend, cos that's the only way the Hero devs can port it better.. although a ported WildFire version exists, but still super buggy so i can't be bothered to even try.

That's correct, i need the application actually, but since you already said in the market are those crap application, i may as well leave the camera quality as it is now

When HTC release Froyo for Legend, Sense UI will be included, that's for sure, trust me :s22:
The problem now is we have to wait for HTC to release the ROM, till then modification of ROM will start again....Haha...


You wait for Wildfire ported ROM to become more stable first, then flash over to your Hero

oh damn, so the radio you flashed is not the whole radio application? What do you mean signal strength? The radio's or the phone's? Kinda confused now sorry.
