hey guys, i just rooted my phone and install the CM 6.1 rom

my phone can detect the network operator
but then i cannot make and receive calls

can send and receive sms thou

one more thing is the phone cannot detect my contact, i use my sim on another phone the contacts are still there.
i found out the airplane mode trick but can't fix the contact problem

anyone can help?
spend 4 hours root my phone then become like that is very sian

settings > language & keyboard > touch input > international keyboard

there are a lot of checkboxes. i've checked english, ping ying and bi hua. but how to switch to type chinese when typing?

1) Very fast, the kernel setting CPU speed as follow;
245760, 480000, 600000, 768000, 787200, 806400......It can operate at fatest 806Mhz CPU speed

2) We're able to read & write Simplified Chinese characters with this ROM


So guys, go ahead to flash this ROM....Though i have just started using it, i can say it's very good

How do I remove the vibrate when I type?
I already untick the haptic vibrate but when I type it still vibrate.
It's been like this since I update to 2.2

1) Home screen -> Menu -> Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Touch Input -> International Keyboard. Select accordingly.
2) Go back to home screen.
3) Goto "New message".
4) Tap once on "Tap to compose" white box.
5) Tap & hold on the "Tap to compose" white box.
6) Tap "input method".
7) Select "Touch Input".
8) Go back to compose "New message", Tap on "Mic Icon".

thks a lot! but i gonna say the mic icon is misleading.

yeah, i know about this & have already burnt the iso image onto a CD-R. However, i failed to S-OFF my Legend


It keep prompting error, tried many times, till i gave up

Hi guys, got my legend for 4 months already but pretty disappointed with the all the lag in games and certain apps.

So, I have decided to root my legend but anybody has any suggestion which ROM I should go for? I'd like to hear from you bros that have much experience in this area. Thanks!

It's the latest custom rom based on the latest firmware.

What i like about this rom is that the notification area is customized as transparent. And what i hate about it is the circle battery mod (too colourful, prefer the default.) And there's many more of course.

sorry just want to clarify my doubt, is my HTC Legend's amoled screen (or any other phone with amoled screen) scratch resistant? because i'm thinking of removing my anti-glare screen protector for the beautiful screen.

According to HTC legend spec sheet, the screen is of amoled type, but not scratch resistant.

You should replace the anti-glare screen protector with a regular screen protector.
My phone using a regular screen protector and it still looks great at low brightness.

but with the regular screen protector, can it be seen under the sun?

The amoled screen on legend on itself does not perform very well under sunlight. It's the super amoled that is great under sunlight etc.. So a regular clear screen protector wouldn't really make it worse.. Just remember to keep a piece of fiber cloth with you to clean the screen from the nasty fingerprints!

I have a problem; when ever i rebooted my phone, the home launcher is automatically changed to ADW.Launcher (default) even if I have set my launcherpro as default before i turn off my phone for the day. Can anybody help me here? Thanks! Using cyanogenmod for my HTC Legend. it always happens to me when ever I use cyanogenmod; no problems with the other roms.

i have a question. goto people-> online directory -> facebook and sync. all the photo of my facebook contact are updated but not all of their latest facebook display pic are reflected in my contact. why is that so? some kinda glitch?

Possibly they are under different email address or name or telephone number, go to their contact, see if there's a link option at the top right.

all of them are linked to the correct name. some are updated while some are not. duno what went wrong.
