I did not say it's not good, just not as good. It's good, certainly better than G6 auto processing. Anyway, it's a software processing. HTC can improve it over time with software updates, since it's got a solid cam hardware.

Sarcastic comment? I did not say anything with regard to natural/unnatural colour.

To emphasise, this is personal preference. Noone puts a gun on anyone's head to force to do anything.

I'll say this again, one men's meat is another men's poison.
Lol every HTC phone I had people always say can be improved with software updates but I see no difference. Anyway I also don't use camera alot.

Well, that's always the expectation of us as consumers. Nothing is wrong with that. In the end, it still depends on OEM to whether they will want to improve. Camera is one of my top concerns in a phone. Diff ppl diff priorities and usage patterns. I have not used every single phone that HTC releases, but HTC Incredible S was my first smartphone, which then I replaced with M7. Both are still working fine till today (except for the batt of course).

Yea imo if focus is really on cam, HTC has always under delivered. Their selling point was always the feel in hand factor and the sense ui post m7 era. One x and before was nice but always bloated but they revamped the whole thing to become quietly brilliant

Yup, wouldn't argue on that, but I believe they deliver better this time with the U11 cam. HTC 10 was certainly much better than M9, but HTC is in the right direction with U11 cam.

Yeah. Definitely not as loud as other phones even moto x style or Nexus 6p. Like you I find the quality okay though. Loud enough for everything I need it to do. Anyway on phones with louder speaker most people won't use it full blast also. In the end it's just that my volume slider a bit higher on The XZ premium, that's all.

The audio test might be a bit tricky because it depends on a lot of factors. The mic used to record, youtube compressing the video, and what the viewer is listening on.

This type of test better to hear in person. But can't wait to try the U11. Seems like a very promising phone. U Ultra speakers were very underwhelming. Looks like they fixed it with the U11.

Sony xzp have front firing speaker this time. Quality is not bad though some users have feedback they prefer louder tweeters :s13:

But really, although we know that it is not very durable, the way he bent his phone is not very realistic haha. You don't see any users of m9 and nextbit robins getting bent into 2 all the time :p

I think Zack used a lot of force to break it. He looks like hercules. LOL.

Are you guys seriously using the durability test as a gauge of whether you will buy a phone?

I feel drop tests are a better gauge rather than a guy trying his best to break a phone on purpose.

Metal phones will obviously win all glass phones. You don't need someone do break it on purpose to tell you that. The tests are for science and entertainment.

Not necessarily dictates to buy or not. But atleast there's a basis on how durable to phone is against extremes. Atleast you already have some expectations on how to handle the phone.

These kinds of videos are just like horoscope. They are just guides. Up to us if we will believe or not. Lol. :s13:

Nobody will bend their phone like Jerry in real life, I think it was after iphone got bent in some tight jeans' back pocket that rigidity became a topic.

None of my(and my family's) phones-->80% are HTC--ever got bent, crack a couple of screen before though.

Its just unfortunate for HTC that the 10 was Jerry's most durable phone in 2016 and now U11 is one of the worst on his list. :alien:

Is Ice White coming to Singapore? I don't see this colour available at Singtel or HTC pre-order.

Oh I believe... I'm just glad what they do in the videos are ridiculous and not normal usage tests. Only for feeding the most worrisome peoples' minds.

That said, I've seen cracked screens all over the place from all brands of phones... so in the end, no matter how durable they appear to be, if you drop it, you're still rolling the dice.

Best advice is just don't drop it and put a case on it.

Well, the only credibility his videos have is how many people believe this applies to their own phones.

I do watch his videos for entertainment mostly... and for his teardowns and clear phone mods.
