Squeeze feature available on custom rom based on stock HTC sense firmware.

There is no AOSP or Lineage based custom rom yet.

I am on Leedroid rom from xda. Squeeze works. It has the double tap on fingerprint sensor to sleep too.

Nice, thanks for the confirmation. Good to know that there are still people around using custom roms haha (Love the freedom of android)

Using my Sony MDR-1000x Bluetooth headphones, there is a discernible crackling sound when playing FLAC music files using the HTC U11. There wasn't any issues when using the Xperia XZ Premium. Is it because of the lack of LDAC and aptX?

Anyone else have such issues?

However when using the provided USB C earphones, the music quality was pretty good.

Interestingly, I just tried using my other Sony Bluetooth sports earphones (Sony Smart B-Trainer) and there wasn't any crackling sounds from the HTC U11. Lol......

Singapore variant U11 product code is 2PZC300

Therefore, this BT5.0 may be included in future firmware

This BT5.0 approval is written 2PZCxxx, so singapore U11 (as well as other variants) is 300

Bluetooth is always hardware & software related

For those U11 users out there, what do you all think about U11? I'm currently on S7 and thinking whether to change to U11 or the upcoming Note 8. I have used HTC M7 before and it was a nightmare coz of its poor quality.

I love the phone, the UI is fast and smooth, the camera shoots great pictures and edge sense compliments it quite a fair bit, the battery life lasts me for at least a day, charges really quick, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is plenty with the option to stick in a second SIM or more storage space, good sound quality, gorgeous design the back looks really stunning (when without fingerprints).

What's there to not like? Lack of accessories at this point of time, can't afford to be clumsy with glass design, LED limited to green and orange only, not having headphone jack isn't a big problem with me but the fact that the included adaptor has a DAC that draws power is kind of a drawback for me.

The Galaxy Note 8 is definitely going to sport an edge to edge screen as well with the possibility of embedded fingerprint sensor under the screen. It is gonna be blazing fast of course with a faster chip. It really boils down to if you need the Note series functionality with the stylus and if you can take Samsung's lagwiz which still slows down the overall usage experience despite its improvement over the years.
