Hmm. Use for camera not recommended unless just activate as squeezing will cause movement when u take the picture. I set mine to other tasks like screenshot and Google now. Quite comveneinet for moi
One bro did observe that squeeze to shoot delays the actual trigger by a bit, countering the possible shake.
Yea I can confirm that there's a delay after squeezing which helps a lot. By contrast, my iPhone photos always comes out shaky when I try to take photos one handed by pressing the volume button
Honestly I like the innovation leh. Helps me launch the calculator app almost instantaneously. On my M9, I had a full sized widget for calculator. I had to unlock, then swipe right for it.
Don't know why suddenly my squeeze not working fml. This morning I sent an email off to HTC regarding this problem.
Anyway, the squeeze suddenly worked this morning again, for all about 3 times after the email but now it's not working again wtf
Michy, did you restart the phone to see if the functionality can be restored? There are two ways to restart the phone. One is the usual press and hold power button and pressing "Restart".
Second way is to press and hold vol down + power for 10 seconds until the phone vibrates. This simulates a "battery pull" restart which clears the memory and usually fixes most software issue.
If restarting fails, the next step will be to "Wipe Cache Partition", which you'll have to boot to bootloader to do so.
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Press and hold vol down and power button till phone vibrates.
3. Keep vol down button depressed and release power button
4. Once you see the HTC download menu screen, release the vol down button
5. Use vol down to navigate to "Reboot to bootloader" and press power button to select
6. Your phone will get to a screen with a phone and red "!" mark. Hold Power and tap vol up once to get past this.
7. At the next screen, you will be able to see "Wipe Cache Partition". Navigate to it using vol buttons and power key to select. It'll ask you to confirm. Just confirm and it'll be wiped.
8. After completion, navigate to "Reboot system now" and select it to restart the phone.
Wiping the cache partition will not erase any of your data so it's safe. This is generally only needed if the system gets cranky after using it for a long time or after an update.
