Just head to the settings page and type "Keep wifi on during sleep" in the search bar inside the settings page.

actually, i'm quite puzzled by this option. if it's off, does it mean it'll keep connection with LTE/network which is even worse? or is there an option to change it to airplane mode during sleep?

I always set the tablet tobairplane.
At home, switch on wifi.
Whem on road, switch off airplane (thus LTE)

Hi all, can any bros who have the tablet check if your set has this issue as well? I'm using the Mediapad M5 Pro.

Basically on my set there is a problem with the touchscreen whereby when making small adjustments, changing directions with small movement will cause the touchscreen to hang and cause the touch input to jump a few pixels.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm trying to figure if this is a hardware or software issue thanks!

No, its a problem with the system that has to do with how Huawei configures the touchscreen firmware. I've asked on XDA and a few have pointed out that they experience the same problem too.

If you make minor scrolling adjustments, no matter what app you are on, the bug will always be there whereby the touch screen will hang up upon making a small change in direction while scrolling.

However, this does not happen when using the M Pen to scroll and it does not happen on my smartphone (Oneplus 5T) too as they are able to scroll just fine and I am able to make minute (very small) adjustments when I need to without the touchscreen skipping/jumping.

My graphics setting are on medium but I don't intend to turn it to high because lower graphics enhances DOF. I'm pretty sure it will run well on high too once the new software update comes with the GPU Turbo feature.

hi all,

I keep getting this pop up message when my wifi is off.

"by turning on wi-fi scanning, apps and services can scan for wi-fi networks at any time, even when wi-fi is off" with two options: CANCEL and OK.

clicking either CANCEL or OK will not stop the pop up message from appearing again and again. it is getting damn irritating.

anyone experience the same? what's going on?

you can try turning off the wifi+ function i just guess.

i bought my m5 pro from HK because i like the gold color more than the grey from Malaysia. i don't have any issues.

You are right. WiFi take less power vs LTE.

I went to Huawei shop at JB KSL and this is what I gathered:

M3 Lite: RM942

M5 8.4": RM1499

M5 Pro 10": RM1899

They didn't have 8.4" Pro

Warranty by Malaysia. Anything wrong you can bring it back to the shop and they'll bring it to the service centre for you.

Comes with a free ipega wireless telescopic controller to play games

The M5 Pro from Huawei SG? Was told local Huawei will only bring in M5 lite. Huawei MY currently is selling M5 Pro (LTE) with SP & original non-keyboard case at RM 1929. I think after conversion is cheaper than Expansys who is selling M5 Pro (WiFi) for SGD650+.

What kinda graphic settings are u able to put in ur PUBG game?

Is there any lag graphics wise? Cos my Sony z3 tablet feels like the gpu not good enough for the game
