If buy from JB, need to declare for GST right???
By right, yes.

By left, just open and use it. If you don't need the box just throw.
I bought mine from city square so the staff there allow me to leave the box behind and come collect the box another day.

I thought this is more accurate
Go for 48hours, getting 8.4" no tax problem
The pro will be taxed for ~$50 only that's $3.50.

Then why didn't you volunteer to pay tax?
Less than 48hours is only $150 tax free, even grocery buyers exceeds the limit

Lol. This reminded me of the time i bought my M3 from JB. Had a friend accompany me go in that time. I took the charger, cables and tablet, then asked my friend to bring back the empty box for me.:s13:

I bought my 10.8" pro from Huawei MY @ RM1929 with free SP and original casing (w/o keypad), but have to wait for two weeks because OOS. Still haven't got my hands on it yet, but I bought before the tax implementation.
Had a look at City Square today, current promo is free stylus, no more SP and cover

These are really ugly and heavy and completely at odds with the sleek and beautiful tablet that the M5 is...
