WiFi is available in all/
The variant I have is LTE.
Can hot-spot (through LTE or WiFi sharing, the latter means u connected to a WiFi and share with others)

Courts and Challenger are selling M5 lite @$528.

Mediapad M5
1. 8.4
2. 10.8
3. 10.8 pro... Support M-pen
4. 10.1 (Lite)

Officially, only the lite variant available in SG.

Some of the user uses the 8.4 or the Pro...
Myslef uses the Pro.. (and in Hicare have 1yr warranty)

Yeah... I'm now interested in the M5 Lite cos the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 doesn't support Starhub's 4G bands... hopefully the M5 Lite is powerful enough... I basically use the tablet for note-taking on MS Word and other apps like Olive Bible, Chrome, YouTube. And viewing photos. So for the last item, having a huge microSD card is a must. I also notice it comes with a stylus.

Any takers? I'm assuming here that it is more powerful than my almost 5 year old Sony Tablet Z...

It says so on their website:
https://consumer.huawei.com/en/tablets/mediapad-m5-lite/

So I guess it's available but just not in Singapore? Maybe have to buy direct from Huawei Singapore... the service centre is located in The Central mall at Clarke Quay... I have pretty good experience with one of the techs there... very helpful...

Mi pad 4 can use Starhub.. but Mobile SIM only, not data sim.. thats why i sold my mi pad 4 to my M1 fren and i bought a M5 frm lazada on 11.11 @ $550.

So far i love it more than mi pad for the following reasons:
- Screen ratio more decent than mi pad (looks more like a tablet)
- Screen res better than mi pad
- Slimmer than mi pad but taller
- I prefer MIUI 10 than EMUI, but mipad is using MIUI 9 nia...
- Global rom which means No need side load G svc
- finger print sensor is in front
- Can use my SH Data sim card
- No telephony function in mi pad

M5 8.4 lte. I think whether to buy to replace my dated tab s2 8.0. If getting, I will get it while I am in KL as it much cheaper over there. RM1380 for the set new.
