Sorry for the noob question. I've tried to find but to no avail.

How do i know if my m5 is installed with China rom or Global rom? What i see on mybpad is SHT-AL09 8.0.0.xxx (C432).does C432 mean it's china rom? I saw some online posts says its european rom. Hope to get some education from seniors here. Thank you.

If you bought the tablet in Singapore from any of the established electronic retail shops then you can be sure you have the Global ROM... but if you bought it online then you have to check...

Thanks, Min Ern. Mine isnt from electronics retail. Hence, i would like to seek advice how to check. Any part in the software info that would show. E.g. android version comes with "C" or something in the device info. Thanks.

Ok... so yours is Western Europe ROM... it's the global ROM... interesting that your seller didn't bring in the international ROM version...

however at same time, seems china m5 8.4 inch still selling more expensive around RMB2500 than m6? wondering why...

anyone bought m5 from amazon JP before? i only need the wifi version however can the UI switch to English?

I got Huawei t2 from amazon Japan before. The startup language is Japanese but after setting up, can change to English. Japan price is lower than local. Don't ask me why. Lol

M6 for rmb1999 is a steal. What screen size?

1999 is the 8.4 inch m6. Specs wise same as m5 except upgrade from kirin 960 to 980. But that's a big upgrade.

Its a big question mark if m6 will have international rom or not. Or even play store can be installed or not. So maybe just get a m5.

Can m5 play Netflix smoothly?
