I had the same problem using my huawei honor phone. My gear s2 also can't sync and I can't do my NPB step challenge.

But the app works fine with Samsung, htc and LG phones. So maybe it's some incompatibility issues with Huawei phones.

Been using mate 10 for 2 weeks... Think I am missing tap to wake phone and tap to lock phone features from LG.
Hopefully next version of EMUI can have this...

This is very true. I think its one of the better feature on my LG G4 previously before I move back to iPhone. Anyway, my Mate 10 Pro should arrive tomorrow.

im setting up the watch and my screen always kena stucked at the allow notification.

my watch cant get msgs notification but incoming call still ok.

anyone can help? first time using smartwatch.

You need to grant notification permission to Android Wear app. Else it will hang. Using ticwatch e w/ mate 10

once i click grant notification, my screen will hang there.. cant move on.

You have to go to Special Access -> notification permission and grant Android Wear. Took me a while to figure this out.
