ah but can it make phone calls, surf net, install apps?:s13::s13:

jokes aside, phones are becoming better cameras, but cameras are not becoming better phones.. so we all know where this is heading... eventually the compact cam segment will be relegated to dinosaur era and will leave the DSLRs for the pros and smartphones for the rest.

Actually if camera makers want to integrate that also can la
But why is it necessary? For example Sony can make one of those type camera with phone and (the rest of function like a phone) but will it sell is the problem.

Market is driven by profit so without profitable business case, mostly won't have such products.

Anyway, phone are using all sorts of method to make photography better but the physics fundamental is there. No one can defy physics.

anyone face any issue with DBS/POSB new digital token?

No respond when i click on "Tap to Proceed". But the rest of screen is working fine like "Cancel this transaction" at the bottom of the screen and "i" for information at the top right corner..

No issue at all with mate 10 or mate 10 pro.

If you use the system update check in Settings, 134 is out. Maybe slight differences in timing on different telcos.

I didn't buy mine through telcos, bought it direct from MGMobile ... so am not too sure if the update is slower in this instance ... the most recent update I got was 132, so I think it will be some way to go before I get to 135.

I read somewhere they go by IMEI number.

So it will release batch by batch, even though same phone, some get it earlier, some later.

Thanks, I think it may be so in this case, since I only bought mine in January.

How's the battery life?

Sent from OnePlus ONEPLUS A5010 using GAGT

For me, it's really good, the best I've used so far.

Charging speed is damn fast too.

Only downside you may feel annoyed at times is delayed notifications, but that's if you don't touch the phone for a while, and it's not like very bad, just slower a BIT, mostly emails for me. Which I have come to like that, because it makes me less "on the phone". Which I think is due to the aggressive power saving management on Huawei's part to reduce the frequency of sync.

But I really love everything about the phone, especially at the current price which is like almost half of other flagship models.

The aggressive battery management is probably the only thing that annoys me. My mom had been complaining that her WhatsApp msgs to me don't get sent all the time (just one tick on her end) ever since I got my Mate10. But other than this, I'm loving this phone.

So are there any workarounds for this aggressive battery management?

WhatsApp for me is ok though unless bad WiFi (you use Singtel?), the delays normally happen to my email / Carousell only, if I really didn't touch my phone, but once I press the power button all will come in.

Did you try the manage manually and allow run in background?

Set the settings -> battery -> launch -> WhatsApp into manual. Anyway mine is set to automatic and yet all WhatsApp and wechat also FB messenger have no problem instantly receive messages/calls. I am using mate 10 pro.

Yes I already let it run in the background. I'm not using Singtel. I'm on circles, so it's on M1 infra.

Hmmm, that's weird.

And you need to open the actual app itself to get the messages in?

Mine is just power the screen it will all come in, it's like turning on the screen to tell the phone to wake up lol. Then I will get the notification of new emails or msgs from Carousell. But if it comes in not too long after standby, it will still receive fine.
