iirc the update come with pick up to wake. So for mate 10pro no need press the button. Lock screen so pretty, now like no chance to view it. Haha

new feature to mate 10/pro i think. other phone have it already.

its good for those using mate 10 pro coz as of now there is NO way to wake phone without pressing the right-side button

Non pro. Yes new feature introduced in this update, to pair with the face unlock. If you don't use face unlock its fine to enable this so that you can see your lock screen when you raise up your phone.

Use the in-app proxy to trigger the normal download, and let the phone download itself.

Flow

Press the proxy in app or something, it will install a VPN on your phone.

Just go and search for update as per normal from settings, will show you the available update, download and pause it once it's downloading.

Pull down your top bar, and disable your VPN.

Then resume download as per normal.


The VPN is to allow your phone to find the new firmware, but needs to be disabled prior to installation.
