Does anyone experience 4g connectivity issue ? Recently when the signal is clearly showing 4g but I just don't have any data flowing in... And it lasted quite awhile .. don't know if it's Telco issue or the software issue ......

And my screen sensitivity is dropping... Keyboard has to tap much harder to register the tap..

I am on 138 mate 10 pro

Is the connectivity issue one off, or does it happen all the time? Also, where are you when the connection drops?

For me, at certain train stations, the 4G connectivity just drops off even though its showing 4G. Very common on NEL line and stops between Kovan and Serangoon, Farrer Park, etc. In these cases, all the phones I used including iPhone have no connectivity on both M1 and Singtel.

The face unlock seems to drain a lot of battery. My battery is ok once I stopped using the face unlock.

I suspect it should since the front camera needs to be on standby.

On 138 singtel and whatsapp notification is lagging. All my WhatsApp messages will appear only when I use the phone. Shouldn't have updated to 138. Lol

Its a known problem regardless of firmware. Though some FW made it worst. Previously on 132 and it was pretty OK. Now I changed to 134, it just messed the Notification up even more. Haha.

Which locations? Are they train stops? If you think its getting worst, send it back for service then. They can test it for you.

Sadly I feel beside Samsung and Apple, it always the case. The rest of the brands always have no resale value

Actually it's better than Samsung and Apple if we calculate it based on the actual amount dropped. Mate 10 launched at SRP $888, now street price $570. Amount dropped = $310. iPhone X launched at SRP $1,888, now street price $1,520. Amount dropped $368. Note 8 launched at SRP $1,398, now street price $960. Amount dropped $438.

I think you have to use the percentage of the dropping to be more fair.

Any reason to use percentage instead of actual amount? I calculated it based on the actual amount that I will lose if I get that particular phone. And if we use Singtel Combo 3 for people who bought their phone on contract(which % wouldn't work on since Mate 10 is $0), Mate 10 cost $0 and iPhone X 64GB cost $882(64GB), $1,107(256GB) right now. If we trade it in to handphone shop, Mate 10 is worth $370 and iPhone X 64GB is worth $1,100 and $1,300 for 256GB. For Mate 10, you can get back $370 and only $218/$193 for iPhone X. In short, if you want to minimise the $ lost at the expense of thicker bezels, get Mate 10. If you want a good looking phone, get iPhone X, but at the expense of losing more $.
