The feature is a good to have in case you want to catch a nice night scene and don't have a tripod or place to set for a longer exposure. A slightly more grainy shot is better than a blurry one.

Hey all, do u guys factory reset your phone after every patch? Feels like my battery drains alot overnight ( >10%) after every patch. If i use hisuite to backup, will it restore all my apps and settings etc after i restore?

I don't. I do it after maybe half year of usage.

Now looking forward for the GPU turbo update

For the next 2 gen flagship, the main thing will be looking at 5G support d.

Rumours says 855 will come with 5G on board. Not sure whether Kirin will have it in 980 or need to wait another year in 990?

Is it worth to get mate 10 now if i am comparing honor play to mate 10? Since mate 10 is out for at least a year?

Main diff to me is the camera. GPU mode coming to Mate 10 so... Screen aspect ratio too if you like wider screen.

Oh ya and the notch if that's matter to you.

really hope for a micro SD expansion or at least give me a choice for 256 or 512. if like p20 pro only 128gb, then might jump over to note 9

Thinking to factory reset and use hisuite to restore but not sure if it fully restores the phone including apps. Titanium backup fully clones and restore to what it exactly was.

I believe I read somewhere that there may not be 5G on the Kirin 980, though that information could be inaccurate.

For me, it is not a deal breaker with the omission of 5G. I actually think the current 4G is good enough for most. I prefer if the network is stable rather than fast. Also, it may sound like it is better to have faster network, but do you really need it? Its like hearing people they need 2Gbps fiber broadband, but when you ask them why they need it, they say play games and stream movies. These activities will not saturate 1Gbps to begin with.
