I predict mid Sep will get the GPU Turbo update for M10 series.

Then maybe mid Oct get 8.1.

accidentally dropped by power bank on my mate 10 and sway sway landed on my fingerprint sensor, now its cracked and dosn't work anymore.. haiz. anyone know if the fingerprint sensor can be replaced by Huawei or must change the whole screen? if so how much? thanks

Generally it gets lesser and lesser attention from manufacturer

It's already in the pipeline. You can check the huawei firmware finder already in.

Just haven't push to our variant. US variant even worse. Half year behind.

First time using mate 10... Solid device.. Better than G6.. Just miss the double tab to wake up..

Having used a G4, the double tap function is useful, but that was useful to me because there is not finger print scanner on the G4. On the Mate 10 Pro, I can unlock and wake the device by scanning my finger print.

Also, you will find that Huawei is so much more proactive when rolling out new firmware. LG usually takes more than a year to get an update. I heard V20 only getting Android 8 recently, and not even sure if that is rolled out globally or selected countries.

The Chinese company took a hit in January when AT&T and Verizon pulled out of deals to carry the Mate 10 Pro in their stores, reportedly due to US government pressure. Nah... It's there but government put pressure don't let people sell. Now is officially banned for government staff but not total ban.

I'm using Mate 10 and my keyboard will not work if I launch WhatsApp from status bar notification. The keyboard is there but there's no text when I type. I'm using SwiftKey. Everything is working fine if I launch apps normally. It only doesn't work when I tap in from notification.

Anyone experienced this?

ZTE use Qualcomm also getting banned. So... It's not really that. Beyond just tech war but really part of the trade war between the 2 giant country.

But having Chinese company now in the industry really turns the game up many notch in the global industry.

Xiaomi pocophone really impressive at that price. I was thinking honor play price already insane but pocophone totally undercut the offering. Just one problem. No nfc. Both also no nfc. Don't understand why...

Mate 20 coming Oct 10 or something. Wait and see hehe

Its banned for all US government agencies, but it is correct to say that they are also pressurizing the telcos and retailer to not collaborate with them.

Why no gpu turbo update for mate 10 while P20 already got

The update is already there but not official. I think it is slower, but so far Huawei have not exhibited the same kind of "don't care about after sales software support" like bigger brands like Samsung. At least we still see Huawei bringing new features to their older phones like Mate 9 series.
