Means not upgrading to 9.0 or newer anymore.

The latest news said that Mate 10 series will be upgraded to Android Pie. I don't think it will be abandoned. Otherwise I will abandon this brand in the future.

i don't think that that they'll be offering the beta to the Mate 10 if they're not going to release Pie for the phone.
Decision is hard to say

Sony Z3 was beta test for Android 8 then cannot use in full version

can you share what is setting for graphic and framerate?

i prefer smooth and balanced, to have bright graphic.

high or ultra for framerate.

Same here. I think it may be the new map. At first, after upgrading to gpu turbo, did not have this issue.

Running Mate 10 (non-pro), version 141.

I noticed this as well I am on "balance" mode and I see the same distortion

not covered.

I think it was around 100 plus.

I changed my rear camera and back casing and 160 plus.

Just dropped phone and Caseback all shattered. Does warranty cover for this?

I must say the hardware is good ! Still very fast to use after one year... Software wise... I think there is a lot of improvement.

I wish they don't skin it so much, keep it as close to stock Android as possible, that would be nice!

8.1 is already out for China models I think.

Seems like ours might go straight to 9.0 instead? Which means a long gap.

I was hoping for 8.1 to disable AI for photography though. :(

Actually if you ever use any Sony Xperia Z series, it remains smooth after years. I still have my Z2 which is about 4 years old. Still very smooth.
