Interestingly, no that many bloatwares and most can be disabled or uninstalled. When you insert a singtel sim, it will want to install some also but I've opt not to.

S7e has pretty decent battery life but mate 10 is slightly ahead from my testing I got 7hr SOT which is semi decent only. Like I said, will need a few more software updates to see how it goes but from mate 9 and p10 experience, HW do release updates that yield better battery life. Also the NPU supposed to learn your habits and adjust the phone to make it faster and also better battery life over time. Not sure how true that is so we'll see

S9 will certainly be better if you can wait with new sd845 chip. Faster speed, better battery life also but Singapore usually get the exynos version that should be very comparable in performance

My S7E battery drain is worse than before and what entices me to the Mate 10 is because of its 4000 mha batt capacity. Overall it should be a much value for money phone than Samsung phones..

In terms of hardware, it's definitely not an upgrade for me especially the screen. AMOLED Vs LCD.

In fact I prefer the Mate 10 IPS LCD. I don't like to play the OLED lottery game.. you might have burn in or weird tinted screen.

Nope. I presume the online purchase serves as a invoice. Last time I bot a router self collect from sls they also NVR give receipt one..

When you guys buy from q10, did you consider if their receipt can be used for 2 years warranty? Did you check if HW have any "warranty only from authorized sellers/distributors clause? Or just any Tom dick and Harry store also can?" Pls exercise your own diligent in this regard and not just buy cheap cheap cheap but actually warranty doesn't exist!
Personally, I'd rather pay a bit more (to the big stores) for the peace of mind.. 2 years warranty is no joke..

Free screen replacement used to be 1 year if you bought a HW phone (P or Mate) in 2016.

There's definitely some sharpening going on especially if u use wide aperture mode. I feel note 8 do better in this mode as it uses 2 rgb sensors.

Yes sharpening for sure but it's software so HW can fix it when people complain
