You can disable the notification by hold and swipe the notification bar to left, then click the setting to disable the notification for apps running in background

after a few hours of playing with my new phone

1) why my phone will auto dim sometimes ah? didnt set auto-brightness.

2) notifications not coming in, but my old phone (connected to wifi) did receive, like mails. Notification settings are turned on.

3) notification LED is very dim :/

4) the smart gestures (knuckles knock) are not so sensitive?

Very happy with it, very responsive and finger iD is superfast, makes me feel that ip7+ Is lagging....
Newloop app own navigation buttons are not working...everything else brilliant!!!

For notification, try to enable the apps to launch manually instead of letting the emui handle .

Thinking about getting a Mate 10 over Mate 10 pro

Since processor and camera all the same

2 gb extra ram, water resistance function, OLED screen all not that important to me

And really cannot stand without a microsd card slot of headphone jack

Price difference also quite substantial

Am I making a wrong decision ?

Nope, it all depends on your usage.
Initially I had set my eyes on the Mate 10 Pro. I ended up buying the Mate 10 instead after trying out both sets at the roadshow.
My main deciding factor was that I did not want to bring/buy additional USB C-to-3.5mm jack adapter so that I can use my earphones.
