Some leaks for you from a huawei marketing exec

The mate 10 pro will retail for 1050 SGD.

According to them, they have already liaised with singtel/m1 regarding the pricing for contract based plans.

Combo 3

Mate 10 - $198

Mate 10 Pro - $298

M1 prices would be slightly cheaper.

Not bad price lah, ram 6gb,128gb capacity + USB c just like HTC u11.

Yep, handled it with my own hands. Was a little surprised to see a display unit available.

Try the pro just now, there also blue color dummy set.

Battery is 74%, so the experience on the phone is very smooth.

Interface or UI not much different from Mate 9, though there is slightly changes on the setting page.

The staff say Pro likely start selling next month, same as Mate 9 come with 2 years warranty.

Compared to my Mate 9, it is lighter, and shorter, good for those feel Mate 9 too big for their pocket.

Not sure why anyone would want to pick the mate 10 over the pro.

After feeling the pro, I feel it is the much better choice. The lack of 3.5mm headphone jack can be compensated with the mini adapter.

Display quality i dont see a difference.

Pro is water resistant, faster, looks and feels premium.

Only drawback is that you are stuck with the built in 128gb storage.

The lack of SD card slot is a serious deal breaker for me...

I think those who save tons of videos will lament the lack of sd card expansion.

But 128gb should be plentiful for most people. My current phone I used only around 24gb of storage (capacity is only 32gb).

Anyway, will go 313 later to try demo set. Hopefully it will be priced reasonably... looks like this will be my new phone after dropping Sony Xperia. Good potential to be a great phone!

Agreed, this year the price difference between 10 and 10 pro is negligible.
Anyway 128gb is really more than enough. I'll be backing up my stuff on cloud or in a external HDD anyway, so it's not a big deal.

for me, i need the 3.5mm jack. to go bluetooth, i gotta fork out 400-500 for a good headphones.

dont need the water & dust resistant feature.

also, my music takes about 60+GB already so that's half storage gone.

The water entered my Mate 9 via the ear phone jack and killed the mother board. So no ear phone jack is a good thing.

Are you kidding me? The pro doesn't seem much of an upgrade to me. The non pro has 2k lcd screen, sdcard expansion, 3.5mm jack and better sounding speakers per some review.. If it even has 6gb ram, the pick would be much easier but 4gb is no slough either.

Went to Courts to try the Mate 10. It seems like the new OS Oreo is taking up alot of memory and the available usable memory is less than 2GB.

Anyone hands on with mate 10 see if the home button gestures is still available on mate 10? I really hope they brought over that from the p10 since it has front home button which is perfect for that

try out the M10pro at sls, I must say the feel is so much better. M10 is more wide...so don't like the grip feel.

Yes, P10 home button gestures and combined navigation options are available in Mate 10.

Just tried m10pro working demo set at 313.
Prefer the grip compared to my mate9. Narrower body does help.

I think the mate 10 pro will outrun mate 10 in some benchmark due to the lower res screen. Wont be surprise if the battery life is much better due to amoled and lower res. Visually the mate 10 pro screen is excellent enough for me.
