The screen of the Mate 10 Pro, just like the Mate 10's, has two modes - Normal and Vivid. Those two settings offer different levels of brightness and color accuracy.

Normal allows for 422 nits of maximum brightness and the screen won't go beyond that. The AMOLED's blacks and contrast are top notch. The color accuracy is among the best we've measured with an average deltaE of 1.6 and maximum deviation of 3.

The Vivid mode on the Mate 10 Pro offers 440 nits of maximum brightness but it can do up to 620 nits when exposed to direct sunlight. Vivid was designed to make your screen punchy and thus it saturates the colors a lot. The average deltaE we measured for the screen is 5.1 with a maximum deviation of 7.6, which is by no means over the top.

What's the screen protector u use. Full screen type or with cut out for the buttons?

The temper glass feel thick and the button feel deeper in.

I am not sure if you have set it correctly. OLEDs have eye searing brightness if you jack it to the max. The auto brightness may have caused it to look dimmer. All the review sites have pointed to good brightness on the Mate 10 Pro's OLED screen.

hi bros, i have no idea what i did but the background turned to black for certain screens like settings and gallery. see image.

how can i get back the previous white one? tried looking under settings, display, but can't seem to get it back.

Under Battery > Darken interface colors. off it and it will return to white

im unable too. checked the imei apparently all doesnt allow me to install. only can install without imei. no idea how
