yes. at home use wifi very jialiat
U using aztech router? I'm also using Singtel home broadband but I set-up another AP with Dlink 868L and so far no issue.
Hi I just got the Mate 10 from M1 yesterday and the M1 guy told me the Mate 10pro and Mate 10 AI is different.

He say only Mate 10 pro is fully AI which I couldn't find anything online to justify that as it seems both pro and non-pro version have the same NPU & AI... can anyone tell me if the M1 guy is ********ting me?
Most probably. The only difference is the display type, ram, storage, missing headphone jack and memory expansion slot. Don't see any other difference. Both using Kirin 970 with NPU so I doubt the Mate 10 pro is "more AI" than Mate 10 :s13:

Yea sometime really cannot trust those sales executive from telecom. I ask him what’s the difference he also can’t explain. Lol want to smoke me when probably I know more about the phone than him.

Haha. This is a very dodgy sales pitch. That's why I don't bother to ask these sales folks. Some of them are just doing their work and have little interest in mobile phones.

Both the Mate 10 and 10 Pro uses the same processor and thus, same processing capabilities, regardless of AI or not. The key difference is the screen is supposedly better (subjective from person to person), and more ram and storage on the 10 Pro. The Mate 10 Pro is also water resistant.

I feel they may not know, so when people ask, they just try and think of something to say. Likely not with a malicious intent.

After using my blue light screen protector from taobao for 1 week, I realize a few things...

1. Blue light reduction might sounds good but doesn't look so good ..... Because it turns the screen yellowish... I can't choose to turn it off.

2. Taobao screen protector is really cheap and value worth... Around SGD 5 but quality so much better than the screen protector I bought from qoo10 for SGD 15. (Taobao seller even included a tool to help you apply the screen protector, which really helps)

3. The white border is really hard to eliminate, taobao seller included a solution to eliminate the white border , it works initially but after 5 days the white border came back and I have to apply the solution again.

Overall the screen protector is a good buy.

Yup, works flawlessly, I'm using.

Do you know about the data used for individual whatsapp account?
What I means is SIM1 and SIM2 whatsapp will use their own data OR both whatsapp accounts can use SIM1 data. Reason is SIM1 c/o paid data and SIM2 data personal :D

don't seem to encounter this.

when I play pubg, I turned off the auto and see the brightness to the max.

the brightness just remain as it it.

Yep I wanted the Mate 10 pro at 1st but when I thought about the lack of headphone jack, was kinda turn off by it because I came from the Mi Mix 2 and the lack of headphone jack is really inconvenient.

Yea one of the cheapest flagship right now since the street price is around $580-$590. Totally worth it.

But there's 1 thing I don't like which is the brightness adjusting by itself even though I've turned off auto brightness.

I believe whichever sim is used by the device as default for mobile data will be used by both accounts.

I didn't check the data usage because WhatsApp pretty much is very little data usage.

Anyway it works like that for me.

SIM1 - Indonesia number
SIM2- Singapore number

WhatsApp 1 - Indo number
WhatsApp 2 - Sing number

I only enable 1 of my SIM card depending if I'm in Singapore or Jakarta, so it will only use either SIM1 or SIM2 data but msgs will go into both WA1 or WA2, as long as you have data, even if it's WiFi only, both will work.

You just have to on the SIM card the first time in order to log into WhatsApp for the right number.

The blue light reduction protector is very gimmicky and just to make you pay a premium for it. I find it perplexing when people buy a phone for a nice screen, only to ruin the good screen with these blue light reduction and privacy screen protectors.

Most phones running the newer OS should have this feature baked into it.

My Mate 10 has a yellowish tint at the bottom half of the screen. Its looks more obvious when I rotate the screen horizontally. Anybody else have the same issue?

There are a lot of free blue light filter apps in play store. You can turn it on/off anytime you want. Some even allows users to set a schedule for turning the blue light filter on/off. I'm not sure if apps have the same effect as a screen protector, but you can give those apps a try if you get rid of the blue light screen protector one day.
