Btw, just a small question.

You guys the Google Assistant bar is "boxy" or "circular"? How come I see some is circular, mine is boxy, ugly lol. And some has Say Google Now text, mine don't have. Using M10 non Pro.

Btw, the left swipe can only be the EMUI news thingy, cannot change the Google's right? Like Pixel.

Try using a different launcher so you can customize the look. Action Launcher and Nova Launcher are both very good.

Hi,

I am thinking of getting additional cables for my Mate 10, so that I no need to bring it around.

May I know what is the specification of the cable? I only know that it can support up to 5A, what about the Data transfer speed? Is it up to 10Gbps (USB3.1) standard, or is it only up to USB2.0 standard (480 Mbps)?

I browse through products in Lazada, and it seems to me that the company is able to implement USB2.0 standard with a USB type C connector.

Can someone shed some light on this?

Regards.

Thanks for the pointer, what about the transfer speed?

I browsed through the UGREEN, it also support 5A, but the transfer rate is only 480Mbps, so I am confused/stoned.

Thinking of getting this:

Yes you need a 5A cable. As for transfer speed, all those 10Gbps or what not "claimed speed" are actually useless. I've never gotten over 120MB on my USB 3.0 external HDD, let alone the (10Gbps/8) speed.

Yes the ugreen one works with Huawei fast charging.

Did restart a few times. I guess maybe SingTel installing apps in background again... really sick of SingTel download all the unnecessary apps back every time I uninstalled them.

Now the phone back to normal again.

If you don't want to Singtel to auto-install their apps, go to Settings - Apps & Notifications - Apps - More - Show System Processes. Find "Singtel Apps" and disable this app. Then you can go an uninstall all the Singtel installed apps like Dash etc and they will not be auto-installed again. Hope this helps.

I tried using the night shot mode but found that you need very steady hands or use a tripod. In very dark areas it takes 15-25 seconds to finish 1 shot and most of my pics appeared blurry after since my hands are too shakey.
