Im using a non-Pro and 132 really drains the battery fast. Noticed it when I acquired 2 phones running on the same build.

I am using a Mate 10 Pro and I think it is the other way round. Battery life was very good with 132 and it declined after I upgraded the firmware.

Anyway in both cases, the battery life is still good for my use case. Nothing to be concerned about.

Anyway it doesn't matter now since the battery seems to have improved after you updated the FW.

The super charge is a Huawei technology. At most you can do QC2.0 fast charge or so... Anything else will be slower.

Can try getting a USB PD charger with 9V.

If the USB PD charger is not equipped with 9V voltage output, fast charging will not be achieved by Huawei Mate 10.

Last but not least, if the USB PD fast charging protocol is supported, it does not mean that USB PD fast charge can be achieved. When you need to buy a USB PD charger, the relevant parameters of the charger should be first understood.
https://www.ugreen.com/news/186-en.html

If Huawei supports more USB-C PD profiles (which very few chargers do) I don't want it to be at the expense of their faster Supercharge technology, which delivers 22.5W of charging power making it one of the fastest charging cellphones ever. In my use when I'm on the go in overseas trips, it's really invaluable and I can't do without it.

There's improvements though on the horizon. The latest firmware of the P10 already tested by some people to support USB-C PD Profile 2, which is 18W, Profile 2: 18 W (5 V @ 2 A -> 12 V @ 1.5A). If you read the testing carefully, it requests 9V 2A but the Google charger gives 9V 0.9A - which may signify a protocol issue but in near future the PD spec will probably be implemented better both by device and charger manufacturers.

Until then, the Huawei supercharger works great, and (relatively) cheaply available from Huawei service center for extra units, so I'm happy with that.

how much overnight battery drain are you guys experiencing?

Is it weird that my Mate 10 doesn't drain overnight no matter on WiFi or mobile data? I plug off the charger at 11pm, and did not touch the phone until 6am. It usually remains at 100% when I wake up in the morning. Sometimes at 99% or 98% if someone msged me late at night after I slept and the led notification light blinked throughout the whole night.

Cos all phones usually overcharge, likely due to battery calibration. If you notice your devices all stay at 100% longer before it starts dropping fast.
This applies to Apple devices and laptops too.

Any recommendations for screen protector? I got 1 from ah Beng shop but it's a little small, leaving too much gap not covered.
