just a suggestion that some people may not have noticed it if they don't use it in darkness... or with dark/grey background. so it might be good to tell everyone to check/test first before indicating here

Good thread to focus on this particular issue, too hard to browse through the 200 plus pages Mate20 thread.

One more thing is if the owner can provide the device info captured by downloading Device info HW app.

Mine is Device is LYA-L29, screen made by LG LAYA171020-LG-01-18-10-43. On fourth day of usage, so far have not yet observed any visible greenish issue.

I wonder if telco and sets sold at authorised distributors have any differences? Mine was gotten from an authorised dealer and a non telco set. Usually I think telcos and other authorised distributors get their stocks from different batches. The display issue might be due to a certain batch of production.

Hi guys, I hate it, I hate greening kind of refraction at the corners of my mate 20 pro, I noticed that it's more visible at the uppermost corner.
Is anyone experiencing the same thing?

yeah im getting it as well. Called the service centre and the person over the phone decided to give me a technical lesson on the built of the screen but not a solution.

Mine from ST and tested in dark room with black screen
As of today no bleeding

Me too. But not sure due to screen bleed or not

i'm not sure i'm doing this right. went into the store room, pitch black. wallpaper is black in color. lowest brightness, can't see any green. highest brightness, can't see any greens too. is that all i'm supposed to do?

LG panels tends to be more problematic if you know the pixel 2XL with LG panels have that blueish tint viewing at an angle that caused big hoo hard back then also.

I think a slight greenish tint at the sides is still bearable unless it's really bad. Besides, the warranty is 2 years so you have plenty of time to test and change if it gets worst.
