Very disappointed and sianz. This is already my second Mate 20 Pro. The first set I got was from orange telco, which was unfortunately a used set, although it was "sealed". I was given another brand new set as replacement.. And now facing this green line problem.

On latest 9.0.0.126

1. Packaging shrink wrap was not in the perfect condition. It looks like it was resealed before with plenty of holes. Plenty of dust can also be seen inside the box.

2. After unboxing, the internal box containing the sim card pin was already wrinkled.

3. There was no Welcome setup or First Time Setup when I switched it on. Brand new android phones or iPhones all have a one-time Welcome setup. The phone was on home screen after it was turned on for the first time.

4. After turning on the phone, I checked Chrome browser history and there was already a record dating 1 week ago.

5. I lookup the phone's warranty status on Huawei's website. It was already activated 8 days ago before receiving the phone.

Anyway, they have given me a new set but after doing a warranty lookup, my device warranty ends on 2020-02-XX which is 15 months away. So weird.

Going down to 313 Huawei tomorrow.. any advise? I read some walk-in, some made appointments via FB... feeling quite lost.

Never ever had an issue with Apple and Samsung........

When I look at my Phone (Huawei Mate 20 Pro) from the side it looks like there's a slight tint of green from the display but looking at it head on it seems normal. Does anyone else have the same problem?

15 months warranty meant that the phone is 9 months old as Huawei comes with 24 month warranty

How long did it take for the Green line to appear? Didn't notice it when unboxing at the Telco?

Went to Huawei 313 today and got a brand new replacement. All is good now!

Quite obvious the previous set is not brand new. e.g. I received my phone on 1st March 2019. When I check the serial number online, warranty is showing as until 31 May 2021

but after I turned on my phone, the warranty date was readjusted to March 2021, 2 years from the date I started using the phone
