by the way, i use an app called "OLED Tools" to do uniformity test to test. Can actually check for image retention and green tint problem. scary

It works. Tomorrow u try go at 11am. Just say hw called you to go down to COLLECT. Then they will take down your name and contact number and ask u come back 45 mins later. I did it this morning.

Make sure you previously already provided your details to HW. I provided like on 19/11 when I walked in and on 24/11 when their fb svc staff called me.

If u use such stress test tool, suggest to bench against other oled phones as well to get fair baseline

Im using the BOE set now. So far so good. No issues of green screen

Got the SMS on Mondaynight to go down to 313 and get replacement on Tuesday, took my wife 1 hour in total to get new phone, BOE screen, looks good. Got the powerbank too so all ok now i hope

So it took 19 days from 1st Facebook message till replacement. Not too bad considering they had to get in an entire new batch and replace thousands of phones.

If you don't go down with the SMS like others here, high chance is they won't give you the powerbank. Which happened for me =(

CSO explanation was that the powerbank ties to the case no. which you would only have if you have received the SMS from HW.

As in fastest to walk in to report your case.

Then walk in again maybe a week later to say you're here for collect (go at non peak hours)

Anyways, I didn't have any SMS nor did they checked. I only received SMS for collection on the night after my collection. But I received the powerbank.

Maybe different customer service officer different standard.

I was just using the gray background to check. Anyway i am using 2 mate 20 pro to compare. When placed together can see the difference.

Well so technically I head down today, they see the screen problem, they give me a new phone immediately? So why the queue? Or I'm missing some pointers?

I don't think it's on the spot. U need to send your phone in for a few days for repair. Data wise they will ask u to backup and don't guarantee no data will be loss
