If any users wants to check which OLED display (BOE or LG) your Mate20 Pro is using, can download this Device Info HW app from Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.andr7e.deviceinfohw&hl=en

BOE:

LG:

LG or BOE better?

exact same yellowness for my phone. More obvious when when using phone in the dark with brightness at 0.

The bottom pic, get a black picture, then turn your brightness to maximum. I got similar results. yellow blobs ):

I'm sad that this is true but I guess there'll always be bad batches. Hopefully hw can help!

I just kenna this a few hours before.....

If i bought my mate 20 pro at Plaza Sing Challenger launch event on saturday, does anybody know if i can exchange for a new set with Challenger since it is less than 7 days?

Ordered a non pro myself (delivery tmr). As much as I want that camera and AMOLED screen, couldn't convince myself to use a smaller screen phone + uncomfortable curves and yet pay that much more.
Hmm I tot non pro screen is smaller?

If you want better camera, the Mate20 Pro will be the choice. It's sort of an all-rounder flagship, with features such as wireless charging, IP68 rating etc.

The Mate20 is not say a bad choice too, which you still can consider as it still has the wide-angle camera albeit at a lower MP count.

I realised after side to side comparison, Mate20 has larger photo resolution on the wide format than Pro. It's not really that big of a difference though. For me, I shoot on 16:9 ratio usually just to get more things into the photo. At 4:3, Mate 20 Pro has the bigger resolution. At 18:9, Mate 20 wins by 1 to 2MP if I'm not wrong. Don't think there will be any significant difference but who knows this is important to some?

None at all as long as u use proper screen protectors like Full adhesive tempered glass, or film screen protector

Thanks for your response.. what I mean is when typing long emails.. I just think that Android typing is not good as iPhone. I'm not an Apple Fan boy.. still using Android.. Samsung. Apple screen seems more "reactive". Nothing to do with ram... Just the touch interface.

I appreciate the reply =)

M20 has 6.53" display.
M20p has 6.39" display.

It's not the diagonal measurement, but the width of it. I dun want to browse email / websites with content that is so cramped up and have to resort to zooming in/out to view things.

Eye sight already getting worse... Words have to be bigger 😂.

Into my 3rd day usage of M20, battery is great consider the battery size VS screen size.
Very compact and bezels are thin too.
Battery charging is fast too, without getting heated up.

Pro n non pro Camera quality = big difference.
If you refer to my sample pics a few pages back, the words (from that black razor brochure) were much more sharper even at 1x than even both mate 10 n 20.
