P20 Pro using last year's Kirin 970 which isn't as fast as SD845. The Mate 20 series packs the latest Kirin 980. So this late in the year, I think its better to get the Mate 20

980 is on par with sd845?

Went to 313 huawei just now, a lot of them having the green screen issue and double sim card issue. I asked how much is their tgsp they said 58 dollars. I walked off after that.

When the samsung S8 / S8 Plus was just launched, I got it on launch day. Many worldwide complaint of the red screen issue. I had a slight red tint which was acceptable to me.

I guess with the rushed timelines of launching new products, manufacturers might not have not been able to catch these issues during their prototype testing stage. So if One wants an issue free product, wait for manufacturers to settle teething issues first before buying them.
