Hi All,

I've been following the posts and I see that most people have a reliable SOT and very good battery life for the HW M20P. However, mine seems to be very average. I'm only getting about 1 day plus a bit worth of charge with relatively light usage and only about 4-5 hours worth of SOT.
When I go into the battery usage page, ~75% of it are used on software and the 2 main contributor is Huawei home and Google services. Any idea why this is this case for me? I would post the screenshot but I don't know how to attach img here..

It is hard to generalise as everyone has different apps and usage patterns. 99% of time is some app draining in the background. Best way is to understand how phone behaves clean of apps. Screen on is also the main drain on the phone.

I managed to get hardly any % drop overnight before after some tweaking of the apps behaviour individually. But usage during the day still takes a toll.

xgear seems to have both film and tempered glass for m20pro..

I understand. But I find my issue is Huawei home and Google play services is consuming a lot of battery, according to the battery usage screen.

My overnight percentage could drop more than 10% which I think it's rather high..

The only game I play is 8pool which is not graphic intensive

u guys are lucky.. m20 screen is flat, easy to find TGSP.

I find the m20 orig film SP very good quality.. the oleophobic coating is as good as the one used for glass

Is wireless charging suitable for phone with the car magnet sticker at the back? Anyone tried? Will it affect anything?

You have to place the magnet right at the bottom ,not to cover the area for wireless charging to work. Trial and error to find the spot
