Finally ordered my mate 20 pro online, and collect Tmr ... hopefully the phone will be in good condition.

Hi guys so I have issue with my mate20pro (green screen) and today I get a 1-1 exchange (brand new set still in seal) with Huawei at 313.
Just need to wait about 1hr for them to change the existing warrenty to the new phone.

Also got a free 10k mah powebank as well.

Kudos to the Huawei team.


Hi, was it your first time to report the issue and they gave you a replacement right away? Coz i reported mine 2 weeks ago and they said they will contact me after 2 weeks or so, but i haven't heard any feedback from them. I don't wanna queue up again at 313 for nothing :(

Suggest u wait for them to call u or i might be a wasted trip down. Maybe u like to reach out to them again. Cos they might not have so many sets on hand. When i contacted them they told me they will deal with the more serious green bleed issues first

I am using Samsung internet as the default browser on Huawei mate 20 pro.
IMO it is better than chrome as I can fit more stuff on the screen (smllaer font)
One thing though that I find irritating is that whenever I click on the tab button on Samsung internet to open a new tab, there is a noticeable delay whereas if I perform the same operation on my note8 it is instaneous (no lag)

Anyone experience this and knows the fix for it?

I reported the issue on Nov 4th. Still waiting for a call from them.

I suggest you really push them a bit. Send them more messages, they will respond. Not the way how it should be, but the way to get a respond. I reported early November, did exchange last Monday.

While their devices are awesome, their after sale service is not.

I simply went down. Huawei didnt contact me after 2 weeks. I was given the exchange on the spot.
They said they were 'waiting for me' 😏

Msg them through fb again or like some other say go down directly with your box and phone. They told me the new batches of phone arrive Wednesday so there might still have stocks for m20pro unless all move to the it fair.

does anyone faced any issue that mate 20 pro drained battery very fast when playing games? like 10 mins drained about 5%
