There are two settings, one is manual launching of apps and another is battery optimization. You can also lock the app in the recent app list to avoid accidentally closing on your end

both under battery > app launch right? i enabled all 3 for the apps i need running but no difference. i don't want the lock to keep the app running in the background, i just need the push notifications background service to keep running instead of getting killed by the stupid emui battery optimisation rubbish

I think there is one more step.

Settings > Apps > Apps > 3 dots at top right corner > Special Access > Battery Optimisation, and disallowed the desired apps to keep running.

Yes. I did tried to toggle the brightness to verfied the issue. I also use the device info LCD testing to double check.

At first I tot is I apply the water screen protector that
Covered the green tinted . So I remove the screen protector and still can't see the green tinted issue.

This is my original issue. Now cannot see at all

I'm sure it wasn't a software bug. How did it suddenly go? Did you try a dark room scenario?

Anyway congrats

Maybe software wise they do not allow certain color to be displayed and help lessen the issue.

Normal usage no diff? Still accurate colors?

Saw your earlier post a few days ago.
Actually I am not sure what your question is.
If you are saying you don't get notifications of new messages, then it's not the background process issue, and hence battery op setting will not do much.
If it's notification, have you checked the individual app's notification setting? Is it set to "allowed"?
It should be just some setting and not the phone problem as the notifications work for others, me included, and the list of apps you put there are common apps.

notifications are allowed but they only come in as a tsunami if i open the app, meaning the background notification monitoring process is getting killed

Ya normal use no issues and no color differences .
The only thing I remembered was playing with the resolution and the color settings then revert back to original settings. Because I can't remember if there is software update few days back

Anyway congrats

nova. dont think launcher should affect anything?
It does if u are using teslaunread and u are referring to the unread counts not showing up.
If this is the case then u must give permissions to teslaunread.
For notifications on top each and every single one of the apps must be allowed to show.
I used phone clone to transfer everything from my old phones and I found out all apps didn't the notification allowed by default. I had to go to each app and turned it on.

I tried nova and tesla unread, super buggy with the unread badges.. That's why switched back to emui and the unread badges work perfect

It's working perfectly fine for me now. I struggled with wa initially.
Now wa, line, telegram all working fine as well as calendar keep etc.

Like I've mentioned in my previous post, there are 2 settings you need to adjust so it doesn't get killed. One at battery->app and another is the battery optimization that you can use the search feature in the setting page to find.
