But u all allot of them replied my post and said they are using mate 20 and they have seen the super charge . And confirmed that mate 20 has it.

That's why I felt strange. I remembered I bought mate 20 pro because if this and now our mate's here says mate 20 also has it

To clear this up, only mate 20 PRO has super charge, while the others only have fast charge. The difference is Pro uses 40W charger, while normal uses 22.5W. I think the one u see is their "fast charging"

aiyo simple la. BOTH is called SuperCharge.

Mate 20 is Supercharge 22.5W.

Mate 20 Pro is Supercharge 40W.

If u look on the underside of the charger, if yours is 40W there is a 40W symbol one. :)

Seriously man, do you really think charging at such high currency using 40w is good for your battery? I know many ppl think it's OK. But the wear and tear sure higher just considering the higher temperature. Mine is m20pro but I don't use 40w super charge. I dont have to either. There is no situation that in such a hurry. 20w is fast enough for me.

2yr warranty covers battery isn't it? U cannot assuming everyone has spare charger lying ard. If no spare still have to use their supplied charger, same story mah. Like that buy Nokia 3300 lah won't fast charge. 😄

Car A can go from 0 to 100 in 3.5s
Car B 14s.
Does it mean car A will fail first, all else being equal?

This should be the clearest answer

But in terms of icon, do both version show the 2 big lighting or for mate 20 to be one big one small?

Not any that I know of, but tbh you wont ever need to look at your ram, 6gb is more than enough, and it doesnt really matter, mate 20 is known to have some pretty aggressive ram management too

Supercharge is 5V 4.5A for 22.5W and 10V 4A for 40W

Fast charge is 9V.

If you mean the screen turns on, then If you turned on Developer mode, there is a setting that says "Stay awake on charging", or do u mean the phone turns on when u plug it in? That is normal and I dont think there's a way to change that

Actually, yes, with current battery technology it is possible. Compared to a few years, we're actually using different types of batteries now, hence the high capacity. We're using lithium ion polymer batteries that is capable of being charged this fast, their wear is usually only affected by high temperatures (super charge does make it slightly hotter), or if the battery gets punctured, or overcharging. However, now most batteries have a controller of it to prevent this, which is also why super charging is only the first 70%, before it switches to normal charging towards the end which prevents all these issues. Also, for those saying super charging stopped working on ur mate 20, this might be the cause, if ure not charging it up from 0%
