Don't think u can w Google sms apps. They pride themselves for being simplistic

U can try others like textra sms. But after free trial u either pay them or live w ads. I uninstalled. Can live w/o this feature. Hehe.

Patch05 something like optimize performance and system stability. Then it continued to download another 90+M.
"Add customised apps for some network. Optimize the display of some UI elements.
MONE.SG 9.0.0.10 (LT) important settings and apps have been installed."

No idea what have been added though.

Well it did say network specific. So maybe M1 needed that.
I think one thing was now it registered my hp number for sim1. I don't recall it having any number attached to it. My p9 plus also didn't have.
Not an important thing though.

In my opinion e IFR works better with nano type film protector.

Without any type of screen protector, the IFR hardly works at all. Very frustrating. The face I'd on e other hand works very well after one particular update months back.

After I tried a nano film type of screen protector (not thick like tempered glass) e IFR works 95% of the time. I attribute it to a more sticky surface which keeps your finger from moving and allowing your finger to push into the screen protector.

But my new plastic clear case didn't work well with e screen protector. Within days, sides started peeling after being pushed against e boundary kd the screen protector.

So I'm now back without screen protector and the IFR is **** again. Can't unlock it 90% of the time.

lets hope more tempered glass will come out for this phone which has:
1. no black borders that wont cut into the display
2. larger coverage but can fit all case including the famous spigen liquid crystal which from what i see only RWM smaller version of TG can be used without black border
3. full adhesive

I use screenknight which works well w the plastic case from hw. I also thought the fp worked better after I installed the protector. Thought it was psychological.

Did u retrain the fp after u removed the protector? I have 4 sets left/right thumbs and index fingers. I have noticed once fp fails for a particular finger it's better to switch to another one. If u continue to use the same finger or thumb u will only frustrate yourself. However your next unlock u can happily use the failed finger again even it is just 1 minutes later.
The fp seems to get its knickers twisted if the 1st attempt fails.
