How to recover lost data in HuaWei Mate20

I dont know what happened. suddenly all the stuff under camera folder gone.


i am looking for the data restore but can't find that on the phone.
Please advise what are the tools available. I created albums under the camera folder and they are all gone too.

I want to recover these and the photos under the camera folder.

Looks bad I think even if your screen 3mth warranty is over, you should still insist for replacement as this is clearly a widely reported defect.

Went down to Westgate service centre and explained my screen issue. According to the staff, its pretty common recently, and it's covered by the warranty as its a device problem.
I was given a 1 to 1 exchange for the phone after an hour of inspection.
Funny thing is they only provide loan phones to p30 customers, now is classify customers by their phones?

Hi guys. I just got myself a mate 20 pro , partly to show middle finger to Trump and his bullying.
So far so good as it's really an awesome phone. However I had a small issue just now. Took the phone for a run, strapped it on my arm and used run keeper to track my run while listening to music via Spotify.
The screen turns itself off after a few minutes instead of leaving itself on throughout the 30 mins run.
Is there any way to change this ?

I used the same app on iOS for years and the screen doesn't turn off when the app is running. Similar to Google maps that should not turn off the screen when using turn by turn navigation.

Do you need the screen on while running? I think u cant set to 30min lei. Default screen will sleep after 10 min

Yes I prefer the screen to be on while running as it shows the pace and distance etc. Similar to how Google maps will keep the screen on while navigating.
Actually the Runkeeper app keeps my previous iPhone screen on even when I I was running a half marathon for more than 2 hours

Does anyone have issues with the notifications? For example, when I have an unopened Whatsapp message, when a new message comes in, the old message will be shown in the notification instead. Same goes for Instagram chat notifications. Instagram also has another issue that after opening and reading a new message, after a while, I will receive a duplicate notification of the same chat.

Well there will be knee jerk reaction for sure but it remains to be seen how things can develop from here and in the future. I believe existing phone models will be less impacted.
Trump is trying to kill Huawei but it will also hurt google and other American companies in some ways. Lose lose situation.

Google charges about $50 for each royalty license for android phone. Huawei each model can easily sell 20 millions unit. That calculate about $1b loss for Google.

Even if existing phones are not affected, its not good if your current phones cannot get the latest update as there are security patches etc. Not looking good for all Chinese brands in general as apparently this stemmed from action against chinese technology companies..
