I think Huawei stopped giving updates to SG, Other regions already got May security patches and new camera updates.

But in SG we are still stuck with April patch and old camera.

Its time on to move away from Huawei.

No Boot-loader unlock or Firmware update....

My Mate 20 already update to May security patch about 2 wk ago but my Mate 20x not yet. Some of the local Mate 20x had just received the May security patch recently but still not my turn yet cos they go by batches.

I am still on April security patch too. On one hand, the recent google fiasco is making me consider dropping huawei phones in future, but on the other hand, their battery life and fast charging and specs are quite unrivalled. So shall see what other options we have 2 years down the road.

Are you guys getting ads on the M20Pro Lock screen, I m not sure if its by any app installed or by Huawei

I think its because of App suggestion was enabled on the settings. When disabled its gone.

ya.. i think it could be some newly installed theme..
anyway bedlamite posted in the p30 thread, stating delete the magazine cover should be able to solve this ads appearing on the lock screen.

Had that this morning too, first time a phone maker actually put ads in users phones. I monitored it and realised it only disappeared when huawei informed major sites that they have removed it. Huawei is really trying hard to make my mate 20 pro my last phone with them. Sigh.

Can the mate 20 battery last for more than one day? My mum needs a new phone. She doesn't like the narrow aspect ratios available, think Mate 20 is one of the few with a wider aspect ratio. Tried to psycho her to get 20X but she said too big and heavy

Have used mate 20 before switching to mate 20x. Yes mate 20 is good. The only mate 20 that has FM radio. Battery is great too. But hard to get brand new.

For mw right now if light usafe can last a whole day if play games or watch video have to charge once

Singapore is still stuck at 2 month old update (9.0.0.243), with April Security Path.

My Mate 20 is already on 9.0.0.270 (May sercuity patch) 3 weeks ago n Mate 20x 1 week ago. I'm using M1.
