Stick to the original 9.0 is the best, no draining issue

My Mate 20 Pro used to last a full day around the mid of last year. This year, it can barely last half a day. I'm not sure if it is due to the Trace Together app that I installed or just the battery degradation.

Whatever the cause, I'm changing the battery as it is near the end of its 2-year warranty. I don't mind paying for a new battery if I'm charged for it as it is still a very snappy phone for me and I plan to use it for another year at least. Now I'm at Somerset waiting for the battery change.

There are very few customers during weekday after so I did not have to wait too long just now

when I went to change the battery, they changed the screen, mid frame and motherboard for me too.

Mine is only the battery. It is good enough for me as my screen only has very minor faint scratches. I offered to pay but they said they will give me foc as it is under warranty. Maybe my next phone will still be Huawei as I don't mind no Google services

Yes, you have to back up your data. I backed up mine using the HiSuites to my laptop.

Try wipe cache partition, my battery life seem to improve for my mate 20 with emui 11. Haven't received update for my mate 20 pro.

Emui11 has been released via OTA for global ver of Mate 20 Pro.

Where to get it? my software update shown nothing.
Still at 10.1.0.315
Need to slot sim card and wait? Sometimes i on phone without sim card.

now huawei got the service carnival. think waive off labour fee and 1 price for parts replacement. u can see if worth to repair anot.
