About the standby hours,
Try charging your phone to full, just leave it there and don't use it. The standby time will just increase.
Having to say that, SOT is definitely affected.

Low usage = high standby time.
High usage = low standby time.

Edited: You can't have best of both worlds.

It's 2 hr 40mins currently at 65%.
33% batt used after 2 hr 40mins of SOT..7hrs since leaving home.

160m/33%= 4.8m of SOT every %.
That explained the high standby time as you do play games.

My SOT now is 2h40m too but at 93%, with 29h35m of time remaining.
All the way 4G without wifi. Of course I don't do gaming.
