Hi bros, need some advice:

Im looking for a new flagship and very enticed by Huawei. My main question now is if I should get a P20 Pro or a Mate 20 Pro. Obviously i know Mate 20 Pro is better, but given the big price difference, is the performance worth to go for the Mate 20 Pro?

Qn 2:
My friend is going to China soon so im thinking of asking him to pickup a Huawei (either p20pro or mate20pro) there. If i wanna use in SG, sure got region lock right? Is it hard to configure it etc?

Sorry haha a bit noob when it comes to phone stuff. Gladly appreciate any help

if you want the same performance at a cheaper price, can consider to wait till 22nd Nov for the mate 20x to be released. that is if you don't mind a much bigger phone and slower charging speed. oh and lower display resolution.

Is wireless charging suitable for phone with the car magnet sticker at the back? Anyone tried? Will it affect anything?

Ehmmm, gonna early recontract with hubclub member discount. Guess I will have to call them and ask.:(

Ahh then easier. You have to do it at the Starhub shops or Exclusive Partners only. Cannot do online.

i would suggest the mate 20 pro. Because in terms of performance and charging speeds, its much much better than p20 series.

And dont buy the phone from China because phones in China have the google framework removed. So even if you have the google playstore apk, you're unable to install it. First hand experience 😅

Most ppl. Set their m20 pro at fhd+ resolution only for better battery life . U can't tell the diff from qhd at all on such a small screen.

Only thing about m20x is such a big phone, most guys like to put phone in pocket. Fugly

Hi All,

I've been following the posts and I see that most people have a reliable SOT and very good battery life for the HW M20P. However, mine seems to be very average. I'm only getting about 1 day plus a bit worth of charge with relatively light usage and only about 4-5 hours worth of SOT.
When I go into the battery usage page, ~75% of it are used on software and the 2 main contributor is Huawei home and Google services. Any idea why this is this case for me? I would post the screenshot but I don't know how to attach img here..

Not true
U can install google play services on any China phone n they will work nicely
It's not just installing Google play apk.
I think there are 4-5 Google apks that need to be installed in the right sequence before installing googleplay
