You mean the dust particles trapped under the tempered glass during the installation? Didn't u complain to them and ask them reinstall?

My own experience on the phone exchange...

14/11/18 - collected m20p from hitech from 11.11 purchase
14/11/18 - discovered green bleed
16/11/18 - messaged hw fb - no reply
19/11/18 - walk in to 313 svc centre & left my details
22/11/18 - hw fb replied messaged and asked for details only
24/11/18 - received call from hw fb ask me to go 313 svc to give them my details (nothing on collection). Told them I already walked in myself and gave the details, then the caller ask me to then wait for the call for collection.
27/11/18 - walked in to 313 svc and said recd call from hw to collect phone.
27/11/18 - turned my phone in, 45 mins later collected BOE screen with SN 18B01

Confirmed with hw svc ctr staff warranty continues 24 months from date of purchase.

Hopefully this will be a good set now.

When I was using LG screen, didn't use protector since I was going to exchange phone anyways, now that I got BOE screen, it's likes smooth and gets dirty easier.

When I was there, saw DHL deliver like 10 plus shoebox size parcels. Probably all the m20p

On the question of warranty, does the huawei set start on the date of purchase or the date the phone is activated for the first time?

Suppose I bought from Ah Beng shop, and kena a unsealed but new telco set, does the warranty already start long before?

Or a further scenario say if I order online and receive a sealed box that I didn’t open until 2-3 weeks later due to overseas assignment, would the warranty start when I put in the SIM card for the first time or based on the online date of purchase or the date the delivery was received?

How does the Huawei care app determine the start date?

Manage to buy from Plaza Sing, starhub shop when i randomly called into their customer service to check for availability. Drove down there, still have stock so when you register your queue no. they will reserve a unit for you.

Lastly, any bros facing this bug with the Lockscreen wallpaper.
Whenever i set a Google wallpaper, awhile later it reverts back to the huawei generic lock screen walllpaper.

Those that are using the Loca glue tempered glass for their Mate 20 Pro bought from X Gear WWP, can share if the black borders make the screen size smaller and if it fits spigen rugged armour case. Thanks!

I used one that was not full (without black borders) from a shop on level 3 of Bugis Junction (just to try out). The size was just nice for Huawei leather casing.

Installation was careful and no issue. But after 1 week, the glue started popping.... wasted.

Bought a few from AliExpress to try out (have no time to install though) including the gel type as I am OK with any form of SP cause I am using leather casing anyway. The only purpose is to protect the coating on the screen. WIll post once I have time to install myself.

The cost price of these are really cheap. NOw I know the profit margin of these shops.

Their screen protecror is good and works well with the fingerprint ID.. They said cannot use flexible case. They recommend UAG case otherwise will. Pop out. Im using xdoria case and all is well afg a week.

I am using the TG from RWM and using it will UAG Monarch. Working fine till now. Dont think it ill popup as its have around 1mm gap between the case and TG.

The main advantage is, it does not have black border. I dont want to hide my screen

I only noticed when I went home but for me ok la. Only noticeable when I think about it hahaha. But the TGSP is solid to me.

Hi guys. I bought my Mate 20 Pro during launch and serial number shows xx18A10xx. Does this mean it was produced 10 Oct?

Also.. Does anyone know if the warranty is international warranty? As my friend bought in Malaysia during launch and he is asking if warranty valid in Singapore.

Using a dot matrix curve tg protector. Finger print works but the knocking shortcut and S knuckle for scroll print screen no longer works.

Wonder if film or other protector be better?
