Nope .. no use .. and there is no click sound when you put in the Nano SD card into the reader .. also I don't think its the connection from the reader to the computer. It reads when I use the normal Micro SD card ... sigh ...

Anyone here tried to read the Nano SD card using their computer? Please share!

See this. Essentially the card edge must be flush with the adaptor side.

It works for me.
Firstly make sure you put it in the right way. There is outline on the reader.
Secondly make sure you push the card all the way in. I have to use my nail to push the last 1mm in. Use the release latch as a guide. When you insert the card, it will start to move inwards. You must push the card all the way in such that the latch completely moves to the other end.

Paiseh I forgot I asked until now.. I found out about the last 1mm that i had to use my nail to push in the other day, but both ways didn't work for me. Looks like I need to go to service center

Why not get Sony XZ2 Premium which has no notch? Camera performance is on par with the phones you mentioned.

The bokeh tech on xz2 premium is unique and well done, it's no longer just software (with very few people realizing it). Sony has upped their camera prowess lately.
However the camera lag is bad... (unacceptable for a flagship premium phone)
And on overall phone capabilities, it is still 0.5 or 1 League below

Why do you choose mate 20 pro instead of pixel?

Maybe it is not that soft but when i was at the telco, with lots of noises around, i cant really hear the sound from youtube but on pixel, i can hear it loud and clear.

That is one of the reason why i am having dilemma.
Mate 20 pro is packed with good hardware and software while pixel is only packed with average hardware but still able to be the best camera phone for 2018 as their software for their camera is really powerful.

Google notch and their 4GB ram is really a killer for me.

Anyway for mate 20, do you guys have any problem with the front portrait photos?
I took photos with the front camera portrait mode but it doest blur the background. it only blurs the background with rear camera portrait mode.

Hmm goo to know.
i didnt knew that 980 < 845, i guess my next phone will be mate
i am thinking of getting the pro version so i guess no 3.5mm jack for me haha

Selfie portrait wise, you have to choose the bokeh option (this is a different option from the lighting effec.press bottom left square and choose and press again)
before you can get the blurry back ground.
I tried the 💓 bokeh with Xmas lightnings at the back and the Mrs was impressed

Those having problems with their card readers, did u check if your PC or laptop detected 2 drives even if the card slots are not inserted?

I received my card reader and so far it works fine. I noticed that my windows pc was able to detect both drives and automatically assign drives to both the nm card slot and the sd card slot even when the cards are not inserted.

Like mentioned by other helpful bros here, the nm card slot has a latch that will move inwards when the nm card is fully inserted, and sometimes require the use of the fingernail for the final push.

On another note, I was able to use a microusb to usb c adapter on my old mirco usb type OTG and have used that as a means to do transfers sometimes.

Just got a 128gb nano memory card here in Bangkok Terminal 21 Huawei shop for 1290 baht. That's SGD 54 - half of how much it costs on Singapore.
