Found this.... which should be what we have to do to make Toggle work better with casting I hope.

Will try again.

Seems to be the same thing.
I just recall another thing u can try. Go to overview (your recent apps screen) pull down the toggle app. U will see a lock appearing at the top. Hopefully then the toggle processes will be left alone.

Sadly tried the xda forum solutions.. doesn't seem to help...

Still hangs and then closes...

Just gonna try the Pull down to get the Lock icon shown trick in Recent apps.. will see how.

Thanks.

Edited:

Tried the Lock function, but it only get Toggle back , but casting controls gonna cast again while the casted video still plays on Tv.

It no longer hangs and closes... but all the lock does is bring me back to starting page of Toggle and not to the casted video page. (Casting seems disconnected From TV too... but the video still plays on Tv)

Casting function, is it linked to Google Home? I tried the App launch and Battery optimization to Not allowed for Home app too, but no use.

Pinch in on homescreen - homescreen settings - hiboard toggle on or off

I got a unit with BOE display and greenish along the left and right edges.
It seem to be a common problem with BOE OLED. For this case, does Huawei provide a 1-1 exchanage?

Not sure about double tap. I use this Turn Off Screen (by redmanit). I place the widget on a convenient place (you can create your own icon cause the default is not to my taste). Since I use Nova, I assign a gesture to call this app.

There are many such apps around but a lot of them have problems with Android Pie, upon trying to unlock the screen. This one works around the issue; so you will momentarily see your lock screen before it goes blank. Fine by me though.

If I understand you right your issue, you can change 100 sets, 100 sets will have this "problem". :s13:

If you flip your phone left and right, do these greenish lines change or seem to go away? If yes, then tt's probably not the green hue problem. It is caused by the curve screen at the edge. In fact if you look carefully, the top and bottom will have something also. I get pinkish hue.

Normal light refraction if you ask me.

They will provide 1 to 1 exchange if that'e case. But if yours is not them they won't.

Because eusually the green issue is whole left Tor right. Seldom cases at edges.so yours might not be the case.

However, yours could be reflection of your screen or something .curve screen will definitely have other color at the curve side at certain angle

Pinch home screen, first widget is to lock screen. I find that good enough to lock.

I bought original charger from Ali express. But it charges at 300ma only.
The other one works fine.

Will Huawei Service Center honour warranty?

Where is this widget and setting located?
Now I kept pressing my power button to switch off the screen before putting into pocket... Very abusing.
And setting the screen into. Sleep mode at 15sec which really inconvenient when reading long article, it goes darker screen quicker
