Can't really understand much Cantonese but is this possible? Any shortcomings or compatibility issues when accessing or with other apps as well? Thank you in advance.

huawei phone has always been able to use GMS, its just whether you want to use it or not.

Rule of thumb, banking apps or apps that require you to key in sensitive information = always download from huawei app gallery (most banking apps in SG is already in the huawei app store, including Singpass with all the biomatric login functions. No Citibank though)

any other apps not found, just download from either gbox or install lighthouse. Those who always kpkb no gms one is cos they have never used huawei phone before.

if you feel huawei flagship phone is too expensive for you or the additional minute or two to search for the apps you need is too much hassle, my advice is just buy something else.

Those who have used huawei's phone before, i can tell you from personal experience that they will mostly only use huawei phone after that.

Maybe they will sell in Thai, malaysia and Indonesia market first?
will they? i don't think so especially for mobile that's embroiled in trade wars. imo not coincidental that they release when gina raimondo visit china. if u really want huawei, i think better wait for their next mobile

the hype recently on the media on Mate 60 Pro really put this phone on the spotlight. How they overcome the chipset ban all these doesn't reallty matter to general consumers.

I really want to knoiw how it compares against the other flagships like Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra or Apple iPhone 15 Ultra

Performance is weaker in terms of processing and games are not optimised with this gpu. But can’t stop me from buying if launch in sg with mate x5

Same... No volte no buy... No point buying unless selling at 300 without volte... Haha.
If not much hassle like one member posted, huawei is a good buy especially the pro+ model.
Actually how good is volte? Most of my calls are done through WhatsApp calls these days, is there any difference if there's no volte?

Performance not as good as those but they have their own system and their own local made things inside the phone itself. which is a good thing for the market as US tried to ban them to stop their progression.

About 5 years behind (between snapdragon 888 and 8 gen 1) but great considering all the sanctions they are slapped with.

Harmony OS is better than Android in my own assessment. (apps aside) They seems to get a lot of things right at the moment.

Huawei is the only one company to beat iPhone in terms of sales historically before the sanctions by 1 million set.
