6 months warranty applies to removable battery. Non removable battery is considered part of the phone and will have the same warranty period as the phone. I got a free battery replacement when my warranty was left with 2 months for my nexus 6p. It was the CSO that informed me that the battery is still covered warranty.

If anyone is interested, here's my review of the phone. :D

TL;DR version: It's a surprisingly good phone. The typically great hardware from Huawei is no longer being held back by tacky software. Colour me impressed.

Nice handsome design, awesome battery life, great hardware, great performance, camera is good, EMUI 5 is okay (a lot better than past versions, but still design could be better), screen is only 1080p but looks good, speaker sounds above average too.

Overall a really decent all round package. A good alternative to fill in the space vacated by the Note7.

Bought a Spigen Rugged Amour casing from p20mobile. Don't like it cause it's just too bulky for me, though it feels like it can protect the phone from anything.

Not sure whether this is allowed here, but I won't mind letting it go at $12. As good as new. Without the box, just the case only. PM if interested. :)
