Got the phone a short while back, and it's really underrated. Haha. Liked it more than I expected I would. Too bad not as many people willing to give HW a shot. Frankly this is my second HW phone only. First one Nexus 6P. Haha.
Yeah nexus 6p was really nice. I had the chance to molest my Bro in laws set last month. Is not bad actually. The only issue with huawei imo is i guess is the design is too plain with any subtle flourishes and stylish details/lines or curves to really distinguish it from the packed field of metal unibody flagships. Other than that spec, build and pricewise its ok. Camera is also slightly behind the flagships but expected.

Software skin not so good but easily addressed with custom launchers :)

Collected my TGSP and case from ezbuy. The seller gave a transparent liquid that works like magic, removing all the white air gaps on the sides :D

just a dumb question from a newbie like me, hope you guys dont mind:

is the mate9 battery under 2 year warranty too? does huawei include battery replacement if the battery life becomes really poor at the 1 year mark (which is the case for most phones)? it will be my first phone without a removable battery so im quite concerned.

thanks in advance!

Probably not, no manufacturer will do that I guess

Internal battery is a plus I feel
Makes the phone slimmer
With phones being so disposable nowadays it shouldn't be a deal breaker

I had checked with HuaWei promoter, he told me the battery is warranty to last for at least 18 months.
