Damn it
I bought a full face screen protector and found out that the cut out for the screen area is smaller than the actual screen. It somehow affects the proper functioning of notification pull down bar.

can anyone advice on the price to expect for a used set (1 mth old)? carousell prices are around $7, is that the norm? helping a friend who is interested to get a set. if anyone here wants to let go of their set, please let me know!

Finally.

keypress Procedure to boot Mate 9 B138 into recovery with wipe cache clear cache factory reset

press power+vol up+vol down simultaneously
let go when you see Huawei sign
System will try to update firmware and fail
press reboot
immediately press vol up
keep pressing vol up when you see Huawei sign
Menu will appear to wipe cache/format cache and factory data reset

Anyone using TG or SP other than the default installed one? I find the original is good and covered full screen but prone to having scratches and finger print on it

Just installed TG at p2omobile @ Burlington Square Level 1, facing the main road.

No issues with the sides not sticking out, cutout is perfect, does not interfere with my Spigen rubber case.

Can you post some pics here? Especially the sides of the screen.
I ordered Nillkin H+ Pro yesterday, had good experience with their TG previously.

It's a fantastic phone and relatively new so not many in the resale market.

Collected my TGSP and case from ezbuy. The seller gave a transparent liquid that works like magic, removing all the white air gaps on the sides :D

I'm using it alongside my iPhone 7, very competent the iPhone I would say
