Yup I tried uninstalling and installing nova. Same thing happened. I'll probably stick to the stock launcher for now.

read bro, please read. i am comparing iphone 7 plus screen to mate 9 :s22:

anyways like u said we are entitled to our views and preference.
we are just stating the fact that when u choose a phone, will u go take a ruler and measure if the screen is up to what is stated? or will u take a ruler and measure physical dimensions of the phone?

i believe none of us who got the phone did that. i understand where u are coming from, but what i am saying is, if u cannot accept it then u can look for alternatives since there are other choices of phones around. the question u have asked we cant answer u as none of us go take a ruler and measure the exact dimensions of the phone or even the screen before buying it, most of us look at the features that the phone offers

what zhutou states is a fact. if you want a even bigger screen can go with what he suggested. i believe he dont have any means or intention of mocking at your comments

cheers

We are entitled to our view and preference,
Big enough for you that is good for you!
Is there a need for these mockery to other's comment?

U are a very sensitive and cannot take negative comments person

My comment is purely a suggestion post and its a very simple reply only
U are the one reading it in another way

if anyone have been thinking to get a mate 9 but think it's too big, there's one really great deal on qoo10 for p10 where it's only 638 after discount :O.

How fast is the charging from PC using USB A to USB C?
I'd reckon it will take a very long time simply due to the power output of a PC USB being so low. Don't have the figures at the top of my head. Coupled with the fact that the Mate 9 has a 4000 mAh battery. Short answer? way too long for any meaningful amount of charging.

edit: usb 1/2 gives out 0.5amp USB 3.0 pumps out 0.9 amps

I think can do the math already but need to account for energy loss during transfer.

aka Damn long time to charge full lol.

Guys, regarding charging, I noticed that the time taken to charge tends to be longer as the battery approaches 100%. I used the Huawei charger and a xiaomi power bank, both shows the same trend.

It's normal. You can download Ampere if you're curious. When you charge your phone at <50% the current will be at 4.5A+ whereas a standard phone will Max out at. 2.4A.
When the mate9 reaches 70% the current will drop down. And when it reaches 90% the current will be around 0.6A to 1A.
So its normal to feel slow during the last percent.
