Huawei Mate 9

Just tried both mate 9 and mate 10 and the screen on mate 9 seems better. Both on max brightness and mate 10 is even set to vivid mode. Mate 10 design somewhat reminds me Samsung note 1 with the slightly more squarish shape.

Same. I set to max and vivid and still the difference is staggering

I can't imagine why the demo unit is any different. It is a proper full working unit with latest firmware.

Did a search and don't see any tempered glass or screen protector in this thread. The factory screen protector that good? Anyone can recommend good sp that covers the curved sides well?

Buy from taobao. I checked a few shops and their tg aren't large enough to cover the sides. Waste money

How about those Huawei mobile phone retailers? One just opened on ground floor Sim Lim sq.
They have mate 10 pro on display too. I didnt think of buying mate 9 then....

Hmmm... if you want it to cover the curved sides only those nano screen protectors can but some casings will cause the screen protector to lift up which is frustrating.
