Is the charger and USB available outside?
As I have a habit of keeping one set at home and another in office.

where is the chinese language keyboard???

i only see, google zhuyin input keyboard.

Got to settings - advanced settings - language & input - language - add language... Then choose simplified Chinese Singapore.

Simplified Chinese is written in mandarin.

Personally I use Google Voice Input for Chinese to communicate with my elders, faster and easier since I can't remember pinyin for a lot of Chinese characters.

what Huawei replied was there's a service center opening in Somerset 313 Orchard #B2-12/13 on this coming 1st Dec.

they quote 'You may get case covers and accessories for your phone at our concept store. Feel free to head over to have a look. Sorry we have limited information on accessories as we do not manufacture them.'

Thumps up service by Huawei.
Just contacted them this morning with regards to the yellow tint on my Mate 9 screen. Delivery courier came and pick up the phone the same day. :D

I have fiddled with the notification settings to prevent cases where my whatsapp or other social media notifications does not appear.

I am usually able to receive whatsapp notifications but whenever i close apps or ram via phone manager, there is no notification.

Seems like this issue of notifications is persistent on oppo, xiaomi and Huawei phones. No matter how you configure the settings to get it work for the time being, it will simply stop working unless u leave the app running in the ram management and lock it.

Hihi, isit everytime got notifications not coming in or delayed notifications?Last time I used OPPO phone also these 2 issues so abit scared now.
If Mate 9 really has these kind of issues, then I may reconsider buying.

Did some try and error for the above issue.

Such issues will occur if we clear cache or ram through the phone manager.
It forcibly closes the app and that is when the notification stops appearing.

If we close it normally, ie pressing home button or swiping opened apps, the notification will still appear.

Worse case scenario is when we clear the ram/cache/memory and manually reopen whatsapp/telegram/messenger.

I also have whatsapp notification not coming in. It will be silent for hours then when I open whatsapp, all the messages rushed in spamming me.

Cannot tahan so I go and uninstall and reinstall whatsapp back and now everything back to normal!

Will keep monitor to see if the problem will come back or not
